Yeguada M.E. Fernández

Fernández Jimena stud farm was founded in 1993 by Juan Carlos and Manuel Fernandez Jimena, engaging thereafter exclusively in the breeding of Purebred Spanish Horses.

From the outset, the main objective of this stud farm has been producing animals of exceptional beauty, great nobleness and elevated paces; being exceptionally selective of our colts and fillies, and using stallions and mares bought from the most prestigious stud farms in Spain.

Always respecting the old traditions in the handling and care of our horses allows us to obtain horses suitable for dressage, the “Doma Vaquera” and carriages.

The stud farm is located in Nerja in the Cortijo Eustaquio area of Rio Seco.

Currently, we have more than 20 specimens with coat colours of  bay, black, chestnut and other diluted coats.

Our products have been sold to private individuals and stud farms from different regions of Spain as well as other European countries as France, Belgium, Germany, Italy, England and Ireland.
